Norma Carroll Schneider of McKinney, Texas passed away on October 22, 2018 at the age of 76. She was born on September 17, 1942 to Frank and Rita (Costello) Carroll in Arden, Delaware. Norma graduated from Louisiana State University with a nursing degree and was the head nurse at Mt. Sinai in New York City. She enjoyed English horseback riding with her horse, Sunny, she was a skilled Batik painter, and she could often be caught singing while enjoying the day. Norma was known for always encouraging people and anyone that met her instantly loved her. She was adored by her kids and grandkids who always felt that they could accomplish anything they put their minds to because of her.
Norma is survived by sons, David Rubin and wife, Melissa of Austin, Texas and Michael Rubin and wife, Christy of Prosper, Texas; daughter, Lynn Bowman and husband, Dan of Newport, North Carolina; grandchildren, Zachary Rubin, Michael Rubin Jr., Madeline Rubin, Andrew Rubin, Nicholas Rubin, Luke Bowman, Olivia Bowman, Alex Bowman, and Grace Bowman; brothers, Mike Carroll of Charlotte, North Carolina and Chris Carrol of Emerald Isle, North Carolina; sister, Arden Carroll of Boyce, Virginia; best friend of forty years, Beverly Holcomb of Kaufman, Texas; and many other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her previous husband, Ronald Rubin and her favorite horse, Sunny.
