Norma Lee Dubetsky

Norma Lee Dubetsky of Allen, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 7, 2021 at the age of 92.  She was born on September 21, 1928 to Dee O. Blakey and Mae (Thomas) Blakey in Liberal, Kansas.  Norma married the late Al Dubetsky on December 6, 1947 and they enjoyed nearly 54 years of marriage before his passing in 2001. Norma often recalled her time wiring electrical panels at Boeing and Cessna Aircraft, a job she was very proud of.  She also retired from Montgomery Wards as a department manager.  After retirement, she volunteered for 20 years at McKinney Medical Center. Norma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister that loved her God, family, and country. She was a “firecracker” that will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.   

Norma is survived by her loving daughters, Terri Stucky (Glen) of Burleson, Texas, Becky Rider (Terry) of Allen, Texas, and Jana Allen-Jung (Mike) of Allen, Texas; grandchildren Jennifer, Tim, Robert, Chris, and Melissa; great grandchildren DJ, Adrian, Anthony, and Brandon; great-great granddaughter Brenna; and a host of loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Al Dubetsky; mother, Mae Blakey; father and stepmother, Dee O. and Mable Blakey; sister, Marcella Schepis; brothers, Robert Blakey and Byron Blakey; and granddaughter, Shawna Stucky -Hauck.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
