Mrs. Norma Ruth Florence, age 87, of Crossroads, Texas passed away May 24, 2009, at her home. She was born on May 2, 1922, in Celina, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph B. Wilson. Mrs. Florence was a watch maker and of the Baptist faith. Her faith in God is what sustained her through her entire life. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Torbak and husband, Archie Taliaferro of Crossroads, Texas; grandsons, Matthew and Darrin Torbak; sister, Lavauda Brimer of Haltom City, Texas; and numerous nephews and nieces and a host of other loving family and friends. Mrs. Florence will be laid to rest in Allen Cemetery, Allen, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Directors.
