All my life you have always been there for me: as a mother, a teacher, an advisor, a confidant and finally as a friend. You have always been a blessing to me. You will always remain near to me because your influence and wisdom is part of the tapestry of my life. The best of who I am is because of you and I am thankful God made you to be my mother. I will cherish my memories until we meet again in heaven. "Her lamp does not go out at night. She opens her hand to the poor and reaches out her hands to the needy. Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat of the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all." ~ Proverbs 31:19, 25-28, 29 Kim Hyatt, October 1, 2014 Mom, how I love you and miss you! I am so grateful that you brought me up sharing your faith and love of God. You never gave up hope, even in the worst of times. Your perseverance was such an inspiration. I will never stop missing you Mom, yet even through my tears I am comforted knowing the tremendous joy you are surrounded by, being in the presence of the Lord, and that one day I will see you again. God, I thank you for giving me a mother who taught me Your ways and led me to You. Psalm 19 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun. It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course. It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is deprived of its warmth. The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of them are righteous. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb. By them your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward. But who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults. Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then I will be blameless, innocent of great transgression. May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. 1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
