Mrs. Norah Veronica Russell, age 79, of Garland, Texas passed away on December 20, 2003. She was born on April 2, 1924 to John and Bridget (Shaw) Murphy in Gateshead, England. On September 23, 1950, she married Fred Milton Russell, Jr. in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was a customer services representative for McShan Florist. She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Lynn Russell-Shadow and husband, William M. of McKinney, Texas. Her husband, Fred Milton Russell, Jr. of Hope Arkansas; parents, John and Bridget Murphy of Richmond, England; sisters, Maureen Woolf of Richmond, England and Maria Butler of Napier, New Zealand preceded her in death. A visitation was held Monday, December 22, 2003 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Graveside services are will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 28, 2003 at Memory Gardens in Hope, Arkansas.
