A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Nola Faye Bass Chennault, 81 year old Leonard resident, is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 9, 2019 at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard.  Charles Wrenn will officiate.  Nola’s remains will be buried in the Valley Creek Cemetery following Cremation.

Nola was born December 21, 1937, in Randolph,Texas, to O.S. and Virgie Mae Cunningham Bass.  She was the youngest of seven children.  She had been a member of both the Methodist and Baptist Faiths.   She worked at the Oscar Mayer plant in Sherman in the meat processing division for more than 15 years.  She married Bobby Gene Chennault on September 30, 1983, in Sherman,Texas.  She passed away in the early hours on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at the Leonard Manor.

Nola is survived by her son:  Bradley Ray Burchfield and wife, Janelle, of Lewisville,Texas; her daughters:  Kathy Mitchell and husband, Gregory, of Germantown, Wisconsin, and Janet Gonzales and husband, Tone, of The Colony,Texas.  Nola is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and her brothers and sister:  Clifton Bass, Gene Bass, Otis Bass and Lovera Turner.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Nola was preceded in death by a son, Keith Burchfield, a sister, Audrey Walters, and a brother, Alvin Bass.
