Nelva Jeanne (Nelms) Kleppe of Allen, Texas passed away on May 24, 2018 at the age of 72. She was born on April 30, 1946 to Jack Ray and Mary Helen (Thompson) Nelms in Comanche, Texas. Nelva married Delbert Henry Kleppe on May 11, 1965 in San Angelo, Texas. She was a member of The Church of Christ on McDermott Road in Plano, Texas.
Nelva is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Delbert Kleppe of Allen, Texas; daughter, Dr. Karen Kleppe Graham and husband, Jim of Jonesboro, Arkansas; son, Delbert Kleppe, Jr. of Allen, Texas; grandchildren, Taylor Graham of Atlanta, Georgia, Reese Graham of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Tanner Kleppe of McKinney, Texas, Raegan Kleppe also of McKinney, Texas; brother, Travis Nelms of Lewisville, Texas; and numerous other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Nelms; her mother, Mary Helen Thompson Boothe; her sister, Betty Hughes; and her nephew, Timothy Hughes.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, May 31, 2018 at The Church of Christ on McDermott Road, 3600 McDermott Road, Plano, Texas 75025 with James Waugh officiating. Interment will be held at 2:30 P.M. at Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wednesday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 P.M. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Pallbearers will be Tanner Kleppe, Reese Graham, Patrick Hughes, Jason Thompson, Ralph Thompson, and James Graham.
Memorial donations may be given in Nelva’s honor to the American Cancer Society.
