Nellie Mae (Worley) Webb, aged 81, of Celeste, Texas, passed away peacefully May 12, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to John William and Alta Mae (Braswell) Worley April 10, 1945, in Blue Ridge, Texas.
Nellie married the love of her life, Samuel Webb, December 21, 1970, and from this union came a cherished son, Daniel.
From an early age, Nellie gave her life to Christ and was a devoted Baptist. She was a member of the Murphy Road Baptist Church for many years, until she moved to the Higher Trails Church in 2008, where she spent he remaining years.
She loved to travel, having even gone all the way to Vienna, Austria, but one of her favorite places was the breathtaking Ouray, Colorado, of which she visited many times. In her down time, she loved to relax out on the front porch and take in the scenery while watching her favorite hummingbirds fly about, and was a devoted pet mom to her babies Missy and Snowflake, her beloved schnauzer and cat.
Above all, she was a devoted Wife, a loving Mother, cherished Sister, and loyal Friend, whose memory will live on in those who loved her, and whose love and laughter will be truly missed.
Nellie is survived by her Son, Daniel Webb and Wife Kimberly, of Celeste, TX; Brother John Worley and Wife Linda Lou, of Blue Ridge, TX; Sister Helen Carey, of Sherman, TX; Brother James Worley and Wife Linda Ann, of Van Alstyne, TX; Brother Billy Joe Worley and Wife Pam, of Kemp, OK; Sister Betty Harris and Husband James, of Nobility, TX; Sister Linda Doan, of Merit, TX, along with a host of loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving Husband, Samuel Webb, and Parents, John William Worley and Alta Mae Braswell.
The family will receive friends during a visitation, May 18, 2026, at 1 PM, at Turrentine Jackson Morrow Frisco Funeral Home Chapel, 8520 Main St, Frisco, TX, 75033. A funeral service will be held immediately after at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow services at Ridgeview West Memorial Park, 7800 Sanctuary Dr, Frisco, TX, 75033.
