Nell Jean Davis of Grove, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at the age of 78. She was born on December 18, 1942 to John Raymond Loux and Mary Nellie Walker in Delaware County, Oklahoma. Jeanie was the life of every party and loved to dance, especially anytime she heard an Elvis song. An amazing cook, expert waffle maker, and lover of sweets you could always count on her for recipe tips and treats. Jeanie was a loving grandmother and great grandmother. When asked how to describe their grandmother her grandchildren will tell you she was a cool grandma, enjoying nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Anyone blessed with the opportunity to spend time with Jeanie will remember her great sense of humor. She loved to tell stories, especially with her brother John whom she shared countless laughs with. In her spare time, Jeanie could be found scouting out the best garage sales in search of a good bargain - loving to take her friends and family along for the thrill of the hunt. What would start out as a request to join her for a quick outing would turn into a day full of adventure and memories. Another one of her favorite pastimes was a good ol’ fashion poker night. A tradition friends and family look back upon with fondness.
