Neil Fox of Princeton, Texas, departed from this world on January 31, 2024, at the age of 73, surrounded by the warmth and love of his cherished family. He was born on December 19, 1950, to Francis Emmett Fox, Jr. and Marie Catherine (Moroney) Fox in Rochester, New York. Neil found enduring love when he married Frieda "Eileen" Brown on October 12, 2002, in Dallas, Texas. Their union was a source of joy, companionship, and support for each other. Neil was passionate about racing Corvettes and exploring National Parks with Eileen and their friends.
In his professional career, Neil dedicated many years to the field of accounting in the software industry. His dedication and expertise contributed to the success of his endeavors. Neil was a devoted member of Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Allen, Texas. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding him throughout his life. He was a loving husband, a supportive father, a doting grandfather, a caring brother, and a cherished friend. Neil leaves behind a legacy of kindness and generosity that will be remembered by those whose lives he touched. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Neil is survived by his beloved wife, Eileen Fox of Princeton, Texas; son, Matthew Fox and wife, Danielle of Summerville, Massachusetts; daughters, Shelley Peterson and husband, Jake of Alaska, Jennifer Dorobek and husband, Jamie of Decatur, Texas, and Stephanie Jagoda and husband, Tim of Wylie, Texas; sister, Mary Langworthy and husband Peter of New York; brother, Gregory Fox and wife, Jan of South Carolina; brother, Emmett Fox and wife, Cindy of New York; sister, Theresa Lehman and husband, Mark of New York; brother, John Fox and wife, Anna of South Carolina; grandson, Zachary Monroe and husband, Jon of Fort Sill, Oklahoma; granddaughter, Alexandria Pecino of Dallas, Texas; grandson, Jaden Dorobek and fiancé, Lexi of Decatur, Texas; granddaughter, Savannah Jagoda of Wylie, Texas; grandson, Bo Peterson of Alaska; grandson, Kelley Fox of Summerville, Massachusetts; and a host of other loving family and friends.
Neil was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bill Fox.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, 1914 Ridgeview Drive, Allen, Texas 75013. Msgr. John Bell officiating.
