IN LOVING MEMORY

Neal K. Patel

Oct 27 1977 - Apr 27 2021

Neal K. Patel beloved son of Kirit and Usha Patel (Sherman, Texas) and beloved brother to Parul Patel and brother-in-law to Vijay Patel passed on April 27, 2021 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 43.  Neal had a thriving career as Chief Technology Officer at J Hilburn Company, a position he held for the past ten years.  He attended Sherman High School and received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University.

Neal was an exceptional and generous person, who was selflessly devoted to his family and friends.  Neal never shied away from hard work and helping others – and always with an eagerness to enhance the lives of those around him.  Neal was a lifelong Cowboys fan and loved golf, fast cars, and an ice-cold Miller Lite.  Neal is blessed with a large, close-knit family of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews, each of whom looked to Neal for strength and sound guidance in the best and worst of times.  In that sense, Neal was the first call to friends and family in their times of need and, for those times, we are forever grateful.

Friends are invited to a Visitation at Turrentine Jackson Morrow Funeral Home, located at 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen Texas, from 12:00 – 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 1.  For those attending, we encourage you to wear Cowboys attire in honor of Neal’s affection for the team.  To maintain social distancing, only a limited number of guests will be permitted “come and go” in the funeral home at one time.

The family will be holding funeral services by invitation only on Sunday, May 2, at 2:00 pm.  In light of COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral home has limited capacity for the funeral services and therefore we have arranged for the services to be livestreamed by clicking on the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/neal-k-patel found on this webpage.  After the service, the recorded livestream will be available for viewing at the same link location.
