Patel, Neal

Neal K. Patel

October 27, 1977 - April 27, 2021

Neal K. Patel beloved son of Kirit and Usha Patel (Sherman, Texas) and beloved brother to Parul Patel and brother-in-law to Vijay Patel passed on April 27, 2021 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 43.  Neal had a thriving career as Chief Technology Officer at J Hilburn Company, a position he held for the past ten years.  He attended Sherman High School and received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University.

Neal was an exceptional and generous person, who was selflessly devoted to his family and friends.  Neal never shied away from hard work and helping others – and always with an eagerness to enhance the lives of those around him.  Neal was a lifelong Cowboys fan and loved golf, fast cars, and an ice-cold Miller Lite.  Neal is blessed with a large, close-knit family of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews, each of whom looked to Neal for strength and sound guidance in the best and worst of times.  In that sense, Neal was the first call to friends and family in their times of need and, for those times, we are forever grateful.

Friends are invited to a Visitation at Turrentine Jackson Morrow Funeral Home, located at 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen Texas, from 12:00 – 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 1.  For those attending, we encourage you to wear Cowboys attire in honor of Neal’s affection for the team.  To maintain social distancing, only a limited number of guests will be permitted “come and go” in the funeral home at one time.

The family will be holding funeral services by invitation only on Sunday, May 2, at 2:00 pm.  In light of COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral home has limited capacity for the funeral services and therefore we have arranged for the services to be livestreamed by clicking on the following link: found on this webpage.  After the service, the recorded livestream will be available for viewing at the same link location.

Dineshbhai, Sushilaben, Rahul and Minal Patel, May 1, 2021 We will miss you Neil!!!!! Bharat Gajera, May 1, 2021 No matter how hard I try I just can't find the right words to describe the immense loss we have all suffered with Neal's passing. His quick wit, his teasing remarks that always made me feel welcomed and part of the family, his passion and optimism for his eternal Football team the Dallas Cowboys, his immense love and adoration for his sister Parul, his capability to make her friends part of his life too. He cared very deeply about his family, always gave his best and tried to make everyone around him feel comfortable. Even when there is no doubt his mother's cooking is the best Indian cuisine in the world, when I came into town he would always accompany us to an Indian restaurant to curve my craving without complaining and always trying to pay for the entire bill. In my heart I will always carry the image of him smiling, Making me smile with his teasing, his intelligent witty comebacks, his love for the Cowboys, his enjoyment of a Miller lite, his unconditional and enormous love for his parents and sister, how he introduced me to Titos and water since then my favorite drink and from now on every time I have a T&W will be in honor of him! May everyone who was touched by this amazing human become a representative of his great qualities, may we make him smile and feel Proud of us because we have become better people because of him! May we shower much love on his sister and his parents and make them feel they are never alone, the physical part of him may be absent, but he shared so much of himself with so many that he lives in our hearts always. I can almost hear him calling out teasing..... Fools....... All my love to the family, my heart is grieving with you. And know I am eternally grateful to have met, cared for and positively influenced by the great man Neal Patel. He lives forever in our hearts. Nicole Peña, May 1, 2021 Dina and I offer our sincere condolences for your loss. May His soul Rest In Peace. Sorry Ushaben and Kiritbhai for your loss.
