Neal Stanley Alles, age 78, of McKinney , Texas , passed away June 2, 2011 in McKinney . He was born on December 4, 1932, in Orleans , Nebraska , to John Keith and Maude ( Davenport ) Alles. On January 30, 1981, Neal married his wife Diane Attard, in Des Moines , Iowa . He grew up in Nebraska . Neal worked as Vice President of sales and marketing and was part owner of the Ken Bratney Company. He retired in 1989. He was an avid golfer, coin collector, world traveler, and liked to play the stock market. He is survived by his wife, Diane Alles of McKinney, Texas; children, Beverly Rivers and husband David of McKinney, Texas, Greg Alles and wife Julie of Taylorsville, Kentucky, Marlese Rodriguez of Round Rock, Texas, and Ericka Landon and husband Terry of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Rodney Alles, Jennifer Alles Baisden, Victoria Alles, Zoe Rodriguez, Tyler Landon, and Carter Landon; great-grandchildren, Preston Alles, Parker Alles, and Brookelyn Baisden; brother, John Alles and wife Jean of Winterset, Iowa; and a host of other family and friends. Neal was preceded in death by his parents and son, Rodney Alles. A remembrance gathering will be held on Thursday, June 9th, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen , Texas . We aleays enjoyed Neal's hamburgers and steaks along with his friendly spirit. Alas, I could never beat him at golf.
