IN LOVING MEMORY

Nancy Jean Storer

Oct 24 1941 - Feb 23 2021

Nancy Jean Storer of Allen, Texas passed away February 23, 2021 at the age of 79.  She was born on October 24, 1941 to Edgar C. Rider and Margaret Nancy (Chambers) Rider. Nancy was raised in Zanesville, Ohio and graduated from Sunnyslope High School in Phoenix, Arizona after which she attended Arizona State University.  Nancy married Raymond Vernon Storer and was a caring wife and homemaker for much of her young adult life until her strong work ethic called her back into the workforce where she held various positions in bookkeeping and retail.  Nancy was a talented amateur photographer, winning multiple awards through local photography clubs.  An avid gardener, she was a member of the McKinney Garden Club, a model train enthusiast, and was a loving nurturer of beagles, rescuing multiple puppies in her later years. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, aunt, and sister, and a devoted member of the Baptist faith.

Nancy is survived by her two sons, Anthony Storer and wife, Amanda and Shawn Storer and wife, Suzi; brother, Edgar C. Rider, Jr.; nephews and niece, Edgar C. Rider, III, Paul Jay Rider, wife, Erin, and daughter Noor, and Michelle Lawrie and husband, Bill.  Her supportive nature, kind heart, and love of friends and family will be sorely missed and always treasured by those lucky enough to have known her.

Per her wishes, an intimate graveside service was held for immediate family and she is finally at eternally restful peace next to her husband Raymond Vernon Storer, who preceded her in death.
