Nan Pauline Hardaway-Leonard, 59, of Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and vitality. Born on September 23, 1965, to Judy and Tucker Hardaway Sr., Nan was the eldest of seven siblings—a natural leader who lived with passion and purpose.
Nan was outgoing, tough, and resilient, with a sharp wit and a warm heart that drew people close. She had a gift for turning moments into memories, a love for beauty, and an unshakable faith in Jesus that guided her life. Her infectious energy and straight-talking charm made her a cherished friend and a rock to her family, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Peyton and Rayce Leonard; her parents, Judy and Tucker Hardaway Sr.; her brothers, Tucker Jr., Kent, Kyle, Edmund, Blake, and Keith Hardaway; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless loved ones who will carry her light forward.
Nan’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She was kind, generous, and fun-loving—a magnetic soul everyone loved to be around, whose warmth and laughter will echo forever in those she touched.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Berkshire Chapel, 9073 Berkshire Drive, Frisco, TX 75033.
