Nakori Jose Baquera, born on October 2, 2004, in San Antonio, Texas, passed away on January 3, 2026. He was the beloved son of Jesus and Fulisia Baquera and cherished brother to Celia, Naomi, Camryn, Joshua, and Adrian. Nakori was further survived by his step-mother Andrea Baquera, and his devoted grandparents: Celia and Jose Baquera, and Nakoli Leupolu. Nakori was a driven student with a passion for IT technology. His determination and dedication were evident in every endeavor he pursued-he consistently strived to give his best. Outside of his academic pursuits, Nakori led an active lifestyle. He found joy at the gym, enjoyed long walks, and going on runs.
A true lover of food, Nakori had a massive appetite for his favorite dishes, including enchiladas, cornbread, and creative peanut butter concoctions. However, it was Nakori's love for family that defined him the most. He treasured moments spent together, whether watching movies, sharing jokes, or simply enjoying each other's company.
Nakori is profoundly missed by all who knew him, and he will continue to live on in the hearts of us all.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The service will also be live streamed at TJMfuneral.com on Nakori’s obituary page by clicking on the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/nakori-jose-baquera. After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location. Following the service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service.
The family will receive guests during a visitation on Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
