Mylah Gabrielle Brinkley, “Mimi” of Princeton, Texas, passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 21. She was born on June 10, 2003, in Dallas, Texas, to Gerald Brinkley and Angela McCarty.

Mylah was a member of Anointed Kingdom Dominion Faith Center in McKinney, Texas, Pastors Tony & Regina Shaw. Mylah was dedicated to the LORD in 2007 under the Pastoral Leader, Dr. Garry D. & Zolean Bruner of New Jerusalem Temple Ministries in Duncanville, Texas. A proud 2021 graduate of Princeton High School, Mylah brought love, joy and energy to all she pursued. Her life on the earth was a reflection of a light to the world. She had a deep love for music and a passion for outdoor activities, always seeking new adventures and experiences under the open sky. Her vibrant spirit was felt by everyone around her.

She was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, and friend — cherished by her family and adored by those who knew her.

Her beautiful soul will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.

Mylah is survived by her mother, Angela McCarty of Princeton, Texas; father, Gerald Brinkley of McKinney, Texas; brother, Gerald Brinkley, II of Princeton, Texas; maternal grandmother, Linda McCarty of Rowlett, Texas; and numerous other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Christopher McCarty, Sr. and half-sister Kennedi Milan Brinkley.

The family will like to offer a special thank you for the following: Pastors Tony & Regina Shaw, former Pastors Garry D. & Zolean Bruner and Uncle Gene Smith from Inglewood, CA. All other family and friends who offered their condolences and support.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Following the service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service.
