IN LOVING MEMORY

William Mont Hendricks

Aug 28 1936 - May 25 2025

William Mont Hendricks, 88, passed away May 25, 2025, in McKinney Texas. Mont was born on August 28, 1936, to Bill and Lorene Hendricks. He married Eunice Wilcoxson on December 31, 1955. He graduated in 1954 from Blue Ridge High School, where he played six-man football. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from North Texas State College in 1959. He served in the US Army.

Mont worked as a Texaco Jobber in Farmersville, Texas most of his life. He worked on a family dairy farm growing up and in his “retirement” years, he owned storage units, a car wash, and office buildings, which kept him busy. He was always a hard worker and on the lookout for a good investment.

Mont served as president of the Farmersville Rotary Club and was a Rotarian for many years. He was awarded the Paul Harris Fellow award. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Farmersville. He was also active in the Texas Oil Marketers Association and served as a director at one time. Mont loved his family and friends and spending time fishing, hunting, traveling, listening to music, and caring for his yard.

Mont is survived by his wife of 69 years, Eunice, son Alan and wife, Twyla, son, Greg and wife Phyllis, his grandchildren, Devin Gardner, Camber Cooper, Bryce Hendricks, Lathan Hendricks, and Haley Hendricks, as well as his great grandchildren, Sophia and Lilah Gardner, and Chandler Cooper.

During Mont’s illness, he was lovingly cared for by his wife and sons with help from Pam Hendricks, Bryce Hendricks, Brenda Jones, and Joan England.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Cal Farley‘s Boys Ranch in Amarillo or a charity of your choice.
