A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. Bobby “Bob” Gene Chennault, 74 year old Leonard resident, is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday August 9, 2012 at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard. Charles Wrenn will officiate. Family visitation will be from 1 P.M. until service time August 9th. Mr. Chennault’s cremains will be buried on his family burial plot at the Valley Creek Cemetery near Leonard at a later date.
Mr. Chennault was born January 21, 1938 at Ector, Texas. His parents were Joe Franklin and Riffie Broyles Chennault. He married Nola Faye Bass September 30, 1983 at Sherman, Texas. He was a truck driver for Wonder Bread and a member of the Baptist Church. He passed away Friday August 3, 2012 at the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years: Nola Chennault of Leonard; his daughter: Jodi Withers of Cartwright, OK; his son: Donny Chennault of Temple; his daughters: Janet Gonzales of McKinney and Kathy Mitchell of Germantown, WI; his son: Brad Burchfield of Lewisville; his brother: Bill Chennault of Kelso, Washington; his sister: Dorothy Richardson of Fort Worth; his 11 grandchildren: Eric Hall, Chase Hall, Emily Grounds, Jessica Burchfield, Jenna Burchfield, John Burchfield, Adam Mitchell, Samantha Mitchell, Tyler Withers, Sara Withers and Jennifer Purvis; his 2 great grandchildren: Grace Grounds and Andrew Hall.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Joe Charles “Cotton” Chennault and Ben Franklin Chennault and by a son: Keith Burchfield.
