Morgan Baker 77, of Farmersville, Texas passed away, Monday, May 11, 2015. Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Thursday officiated by Rev. John Foster at the First Baptist Church of Farmersville. Interment will follow at the Blue RidgeCemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Wednesday night at the Hurst Fielder-Baker Funeral Home in Farmersville. He married Jo Ann Miller on June 16, 1962. He is survived by his wife Jo Ann Baker of Farmersville, son, Barry Baker and wife Donna of Farmersville, two granddaughters; Cally and Cassy Baker both of Farmersville and 1 great granddaughter Brinlyn Baker of Farmersville. He is also survived by his sister Laranel Smith of Russellville, Arksansas, brother; Kenny Baker and wife Linda of Cooper, Texas and brother in law Cooter Moody of Commerce. Other survivors include his mother in law Edith Miller of Farmersville, and sister in law, Peggy Cope of Rowlett, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Oma Baker, Sister Wyvonne Moody, father in law, Doc Miller and brother in law J.E. Smith. Pallbearers will be Michael Carr, Morgan Baker, Samuel Powell, Jordan Jones, Howie Stevens and Blake Mounger. Honorary pallbearers will be Juan Hernandez, Bill Coleman, Tommy Hickman, Johnny Anderson, Scott Jones and Dean Cope. Hurst’s Fielder-Baker Funeral Home in Farmersville, Texas is in charge of the arrangements.
