Mr. Billy Holbert Mitchell, age 81, of McKinney, Texas passed away on October 3, 2004, in McKinney. He was born on July 16, 1923, in Childress, Texas to Fred Biggerstaff and Bennie Wayne (Holbert) Mitchell. He married Helen Clark in 1954 in Paris, Texas. Mr. Mitchell was a retired schoolteacher. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of WWII. Mr. Mitchell was a member of the Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church. Mr. Mitchell is survived by his son, Dr. William C. Mitchell and wife, Molly; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Matthew, Nathan and Ryan Mitchell all of McKinney, Texas. His wife, Helen Mitchell and parents preceded him in death. A memorial service will be held at 4:30 PM Saturday, October 9, 2004 in the chapel at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church with Rev. Fran Shelton officiating.
