Miriam Barrera

Miriam Barrera passed away on January 11, 2021 in McKinney Texas. She was born on June 21, 1963 in Mexico to Jovita Ibarra and Ciro Marte De La Garza. She Married Gabino Barrera Sr. in Mexico and had two sons.

She loved helping kids and worked at Community ISD and Farmersville ISD school district for the last 30 years and recently retired.

She loved Jesus Christ, going to her church Hope Fellowship with her family. She loved her pet chihuahua and taking him on walks also loved her two best friends, Iris Stewart and Rosie Blaxton very much. She enjoyed their girl time and bible studies. She loved her all her whole family very much and was loved by them. 

She is survived by her husband, two sons, Christopher Barrera and Gabino Barrera and wife Stacia of Princeton, Texas, her three grandchildren, her beloved Chihuahua and numerous other loving relatives, nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Hurst's Fielder-Baker Funeral Home at 12:00pm. The graveside will be at 2:00PM at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Farmersville, Texas that same day.

We are deeply sorry for the loss of our prima Miriam. Our condolences to her husband, children, grandchildren, my Aunt Jovita and all my cousins and Family.
