To Mireya's family - Please know that your precious Mireya is thought of fondly and loved by so many. I recall her sweet hugs in high school...and at church. She was just a child then...but her loving and caring spirit was on full display. Reading testimonials from others has cemented in my mind just how precious she was throughout her life. Ayana Adams-Calhoun, January 14, 2021 Mimi, I will miss seeing you on the fire ground helping to take care of us. Your smile and encouragement touched so many of us. Your selfless servant hood was a big part of our department and won’t soon be forgotten. Your smile was infectious when we were all tired from fires or training. You have left a wonderful legacy of service for you children to follow. As when any firefighter goes to be with the Lord, we now mark you on our board as being housed in your new station and off radio. You are not gone from us, but just standing by to respond. May God Bless your memory in our department for all time to come.
