Arantza Kreiser of McKinney, Texas passed away April 14, 2016 at the age of 73. She was born September 16, 1942 to Floren Iriarte and Fechu Elguezabal in Venezuela. At the age of nineteen, Arantza met her husband Rudolf Kreiser in London, England and married two years later. They were married fifty-one years. They shared two children. Rudolf’s work led them to San Jose, California and after seven years, they transferred to Dallas, Texas. She was always the life of the party! Her kindness, generosity, forgiveness, love and laughter gravitated people to her. Arantza enjoyed reading, traveling and cooking. She loved her husband and family deeply. Arantza will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Rudolf August Kreiser; son, Steve Kreiser and wife Sandra of Gilbert, Arizona; daughter, Libe Hodak-Lindsey and husband David, of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Sarah Kreiser, Samantha Kreiser, Michael Hodak, Amanda Hodak and DC Lindsey; brothers, Jon Iriarte and Iker Iriarte; and sister, Libe Trujillo.
Arantza was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial mass will be held 10:45 a.m., Friday, April 22, 2016 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. A reception is to follow at St. Mark Parish Center.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Catholic Charities of Dallas.
