Miranda Gayle Rice Caloway was born September 21, 1980 in Sherman, Texas to Ronald Coleman Rice and Theresa Gayle Todd Rice. She married Bryan Earl Caloway on November 11, 2000 in Whitewright, Texas. She died Monday, May 18, 2015 in Denison, Texas at the age of 34. Miranda passed away in an automobile accident along with her husband, Bryan and her mother-in-law, Diane. She was a resident of Whitewright, Texas.
Miranda was an LVN working at Bonham Health and Rehab. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Whitewright. She loved her family and was loved and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by daughter, Makayla Caloway of Whitewright; parents, Ron and Terri Rice of Whitewright; sister, Misty (Mike) Stone of Savoy; brother, Ronnie Rice of Whitewright; sister-in-law, Angie (Gabe Jones) Caloway of Sherman; brother-in-law, Jeff (Marla) Zernial of Vidor; nieces and nephews, Lindsey, Jonny, Paul, Dalton, Dennis, Kelly, Bryanna, and Shortie; grandmothers, Beverly Parr and Joyce Rice; numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Ray Rice and James "Mutt" Todd.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, May 22, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Whitewright, Texas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Dave Bradley and Lt. David Russell. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Whitewright, Texas. Pallbearers will be Grayson County Sheriff's Department.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 6-8pm at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Whitewright, Texas.
