Minnie Mae Eubanks, age 88, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 7 at Lexington Place, a caring and loving community in Plano, Texas. From her birth in Barbers Hill, Texas, on February 26, 1926 to her death Saturday she nourished friends and family with love, faith and devotion. She was born the youngest of five children.

Left to honor and remember Minnie Mae are her devoted husband Elmo of 48 years, her three children from a prior marriage; Linda Ann Gutierrez, Cathy (Mark) Lambrecht, and Paul (Donna) Ready; her two step children; Charles (Missy) and Jeanette Eubanks, and six grandchildren; Marissa (Matt) Rustowicz, Alana Gutierrez, David (Laura) Lambrecht, Todd Lambrecht, Jessica (Jarod) Steedley, and Madison Ready; and three great grand children, a great-great grandchild, and the many nieces, nephews and their children and grandchildren.

Minnie Mae is preceded in death by her parents, John and Katie Sellers; four brothers, John Willis Sellers, Roy Clarence Sellers, Claude Wyatt “Tobe” Sellers and James Harvey “Bubba” Sellers.

She will be remembered most by her honesty, sense of humor and most of all her love and compassion for all.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 12 at 10am at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral chapel in Allen, Texas; long-time family friend Rev. Ronnie Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow at DFW National Memorial Cemetery at 12:30pm.

The family would like to extend their appreciation and gratitude to all the staff at Lexington Place who cared for their mother during her long illness. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, at www.alzfdn.org/.
