Mrs. Mina Warne, age 84, of Van Alstyne, Texas passed away peacefully at home on March 30, 2004, in Van Alstyne. She was born on July 21, 1919, in Thief River Falls, Minnesota to Berent and Anna (Holcombe) Kvenlog. She married Ralph Jasper Warne on June 18, 1941 in Thief River Falls. Mrs. Warne was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly Of God Church in Plano, Texas. She is survived by her children, Bill Warne and wife, Geraldine of Allen, Texas, Steve Warne and wife, Shelia of Anna, Texas, Eunice Gauthier and husband, Joe of McKinney, Texas, Rebecca Dell and husband, Rich of Van Alstyne and Anna Mae Gilmore and husband, Linden of Sherman, Texas; grandchildren, Stephen and wife, Ginger, Anthony, Jonathan, Alicia, and Rodney Warne and wife, Betsy, Brian and Brandon Dell; great grandchildren, Caleb and Karleigh Warne; sister, Nina Langness of Moorehead, Minnesota; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. Mrs. Warne was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph Warne; twin brother, Ben Kvenlog and brothers, Iver and Andrew Kvenlog; sisters Inga Severson, Gesine Nelson, Ann Kvenlog and Pauline Kvenlog. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 2, 2004 in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Leonard Algood officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, Thursday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
