Milton Jackson Hamrick, age 84, of Little Elm, Texas, passed away on October 4, 2020. He was born on March 10, 1936, to Lula Mae Payne and Norman Milton Hamrick in Sand Mountain, Alabama. Milton served in the United States Army 82nd Airborne at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, during the Korean War, and he received the National Defense Service Medal. Milton moved to California where he met his future wife, Barbara Maggard. They married on July 28, 1956, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Milton is survived by his wife of 64 years, Barbara Hamrick of Little Elm, Texas; his son, Steven Hamrick and his wife, Donna of Austin, Texas; granddaughter, Jillian Taylor Hamrick; his sister, Norma Jean Davis, of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Milton was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Hamrick; his parents, Lula and Norman Hamrick; his brother, Billy Joe Hamrick.
