Milo Sullivan, Jr., age 84, of Perrin, Texas, formerly of Princeton, Texas, passed away May 19, 2016. Milo was born May 4, 1932, in Elkhart, Texas, to Milo and Ethel May (Rainwater) Sullivan. He grew up in east Texas and graduated from Baytown High School. Milo married Estelena LaFollette on January 23, 1952, in McKinney. He began working in advertising/sales for the Dallas Morning News and later worked for Quarterhorse Journal in Amarillo also in advertising/sales. Milo became secretary of the National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) and published The Cutting Horse Chatter. He became an auctioneer in the horse industry and later in the oil field industry until 1979 when he earned his real estate agent license and went on to become a real estate broker. Milo was employed with Bob Tomes Ford in 1983 and retired from there in 1998. His world revolved around tinkering and building things for his family, but most of all his family was his life.
He is survived by his daughters, Debbie Cheatham of Arlington, Texas and Lynette Williams of Perrin, Texas; grandchildren, Crystal Harrington, Karla Hickman and husband, Nate, Erin Cook and husband, Brian, Ben Cheatham and wife, Cheryl, and Casey Williams; great-grandchildren, Levi, Noah, and Asher; nieces, Treva Kay Martin and husband, Eddie and Donna Elrod.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of sixty-three years, Estelena. He was also preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and four sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. An inurnment will take place at a later date at Williams Cemetery in McKinney, Texas.
