Mildred Louise Donihoo Hendrix was born June 9, 1929 in Collin County, Texas to Robert Maston Donihoo and Eula Viola Garner Donihoo. She married Cecil L. Hendrix on June 9, 1947 in Sherman, Texas. She went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 in Sherman, Texas at the age of 84.

She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Whitewright. In her younger, healthier years she served faithfully as a Sunday School teacher, church secretary and music leader. She was a long time resident of Whitewright, Texas.

She is survived by daughter, Flora Karl of Mabank; daughter, Brenda Brosch and husband Jim of Vienna, Austria; daughter, Dianna Bodine and husband Carlos of Carrollton; daughter, Joanna Ooten and husband Neil of Tom Bean; She is also dearly loved by her 16 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Cecil Hendrix; parents; her infant son, Cecil Ray; sisters, Marie Franklin and Jeanette Donihoo; brothers, Gene Donihoo, Wayne Donihoo, Coleman Donihoo, Kenneth Donihoo, Robert Donihoo, Lewis Donihoo and Jesse Donihoo.

A Celebration of Life and home going will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Whitewright, Texas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Dalton Jaco, Rev. Roy Brian Layman, and Rev. Kevin Moore. Burial will follow at Burns Cemetery in Trenton, Texas. Pallbearers will be Darin Karl, Ricky Don Wilson, Jeffrey Wilson, Mark Russell, Shane Daugherty, Charles Donihoo and Kip Staton. Honorary Pallbearer will be Joe Bodine.

The family will receive friends during a visitation on Saturday, December 21, 2013 from 10:00am until service time at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Whitewright, Texas.
