She never met a stranger, always was a friend to all who knew her. She loved us when we couldn’t love ourselves. Words cannot describe the impact she had on her family and friends. She was awesome, touching so many lives with her kindness, gentleness, and love. She was the glue that held this family together, doing without herself so that others could have. There are insufficient words to express our sorrow of losing her, but because of what we’ve learned from her, we will continue our lives, in a way she would be proud of. God surely has a beautiful rose in His garden, but we still have rose petals in ours, each a beautiful memory. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 20, 2004, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Eddie Hilburn officiating. Interment will follow in Pecan Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Monday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
