Mildred Elizabeth Dedas age 86, of Allen, TX, passed away on August 12, 2009. She was born on May 28, 1923 to Archie Vance and Katie Pearl (Lancaster) Sanders in Scotland Co., North Carolina. On December 16, 1945 she married Virgil Ray Dedas in Raeford, North Carolina. She is survived by her sons Virgil A. Dedas and wife Madelyn W., of Spokane, Washington and Philip R. Dedas and wife Karen, of Allen, Texas, Granddaughters Virginia D. Read and husband Trevor, of Spokane, Washington, and Katie R. Dedas, of Allen, Texas, Grandson Philip Virgil Dedas, of Allen, Texas, Great Granddaughter Roslyn E. Read of Spokane, Washington, and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Virgil Ray Dedas, her parents Archie and Pearl Sanders and two sisters, Gladys S. Colson and Edith Sanders Best. Funeral services will be held at a future date and time in Raeford, North Carolina. A Memorial Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Allen (date and time to be determined).
