Michael “Mike” Alan Rodriguez, age 53, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.  He was born on January 1, 1968, in Germany to Helen (Dempsey) and Antonio Rodriguez.  Mike had a successful career as a professional speaker, author, master trainer, advisor, and coach.  He completed his Master’s of Divinity in July 2021 from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and his wife will be receiving his diploma for him in December 2021. He spoke to tens of thousands of people around the world with over 500 speeches and seminars ranging from five people to thousands. He changed lives around the world speaking, coaching, and advising high school students, college students, executives, pastoral leaders, and church leaders. He was looking forward to evangelizing and preaching the gospel of Christ around the world.

He married the love of his life, Bonnie Malmer, in Denton, Texas on October 13, 1991, and they were blessed with five daughters, two sons-in-law, and two grandchildren.  Mike was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie Rodriguez of Frisco; his children, Lauren Clemons and her husband, Daniel, of Marshall, Texas; Lexi Henry and her husband, Ryan; Linsey Rodriguez, Leia Rodriguez, and London Rodriguez, all of Frisco; his grandchildren, Carson Henry and Lily Clemons; his siblings, Anthony Rodriguez (Cami) of Frisco, Texas, Diane Stene (Tim) of Hochatown, Oklahoma, Sheri Gwatney of Grapevine, Texas, and Steven Rodriguez (Melissa) of Austin, Texas; his parents, Helen and Antonio Rodriguez of Lawton, Oklahoma; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service was held at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Frisco, Texas.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled at Stonebriar Community Church on October 2, 2021, at 3:00 pm in the multi-purpose room in building B (4801 Legendary Drive Frisco, TX 75034). The family welcomes all who knew Mike and would love to have your presence at the Celebration.
