Mike Dennis DeWitt, Sr., age 59, of McKinney, Texas passed away February 10, 2012. He was born January 17, 1953 in Paris, Texas to Mack DeWitt and Becky (Rhodes) DeWitt. He liked to fish, play golf and loved to cook. Mike enjoyed woodworking. Family was the most important thing to him.
He is survived by his wife, Kim DeWitt of McKinney, Texas; son, Mike DeWitt, Jr. and wife, Amanda of Plano, Texas; daughter, Melinda DeWitt and fiancé, Shane Varnell of Frisco, Texas; sons, Preston DeWitt of Houston, Texas and Taylor DeWitt of McKinney, Texas; sister, Judy Banks of Heath, Texas and niece, Myka Banks-Smith of Rockwall, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Becky DeWitt; nephew, Ricky Banks and brother-in-law, Jerry Banks.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 13, 2012 in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Allen, Texas.
