Michael “Mike” Dean Blair, age 60, of McKinney, Texas, passed away September 9, 2016. Mike was born August 9, 1956, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, to Richard Earl and Hattie Jane (Jenkins) Blair. He married Leslie Sirmans on January 18, 2008, in McKinney. Mike grew up in various places as a young child and teenager and attended school in Glen Burnie, Maryland where he graduated from high school. He later attended El Central College in Dallas, Texas. Mike worked as a computer operator and server administrator, most recently with Methodist Hospital in Dallas. He loved computers all of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Leslie Sirmans of McKinney, Texas; father, Richard Earl Blair of Valrico, Florida; mother, Jane Treon and husband, Patrick of Richardson, Texas; sisters, Patti Jo Blair of Richardson, Texas and Jennifer Blair Granberry and husband, Todd of Parkland, Florida; nieces, Christina Granberry of Waco, Texas and Madison Granberry of Parkland, Florida; cousin, Kathy Jo Wyckoff and husband, Kenny of Stowe, Ohio; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., Monday evening at the funeral home.
