Miguel Angel Alarcon

May 25, 1934 - November 9, 2008

Miguel Angel Alarcon, age 74 of McKinney, Texas passed away on November 9, 2008. He was born on May 25, 1934 in Santiago, Chile to Ramon and Fresia Alarcon. Miguel immigrated to the US in 1956. He married Marta Campos in Chicago, Illinois in 1959. Miguel moved his family to Plano, Texas in 1980. Miguel was employed by Collin County Community College for the past 20 years. Miguel was an avid tennis player and coach. He touched the lives of many students, athletes and employees of CCCC during his time there. Miguel’s greatest joy came from spending time with his family. Miguel’s infectious smile and friendly personality will be missed. He is survived by his wife, Marta; daughters Susan Alarcon of Plano, and Martha Hunt and her husband Mark of McKinney; grandchildren Gabriella and Simon Hunt; brothers Ramon Alarcon and Hugo Alarcon of Plano. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday November 14, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Plano, Texas with Rev. Jason Cargo officiating.
