Michelle Carol Vassallo Rangel of Princeton, Texas, passed away on June 20, 2024, at the age of 51. She was born on January 11, 1973, in Dallas, Texas, to Richard Vassallo and Sue (Jordan) Vassallo. Michelle graduated from Mesquite High School in Mesquite, Texas, in 1991. On March 21, 2020, she married Samuel Anthony Rangel in Plano, Texas.
Michelle dedicated her life to caring for her family and their home, exemplifying devotion and love in every role she undertook. She was a cherished member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where her faith was central to her life.
Michelle will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of sharing in her life.

Michelle is survived by her beloved husband, Samuel Anthony Rangel of Princeton, Texas; parents Richard and Sue Vassallo of Purdon, Texas. Her two children she so loved, Bo Petterson “Son”, and Brook Petterson “daughter”; husband, Corey Myers; grandchildren, Lilah Hope and Weller Sage; brother, Matthew Vassallo and wife, Kathy; sisters, Katherine Savage and husband, Terry, Jennifer Teeuwen and husband, Matt, Rebecca Barncord and husband, Sam, Sarah Bottinger and husband, John, Laura Vassallo and husband, TJ, and Cristy Vassallo; nephew Jacob, and a host of other loving family members and cherished friends.
