Michael Wayman Chambers, of Melissa, Texas, passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 44. Michael was born on August 11, 1980, to Wayman Chambers and Arneitha (White) Chambers in Houston, Texas.
A proud graduate of Leonard High School in Leonard, Texas, he dedicated much of his life to serving his community. Michael began his career with Collin County Municipal Services, where he first worked with the Collin County Sheriff's Office before transitioning to the Collin County Courthouse. His commitment and service to his work were evident in all he did.
On March 11, 2000, Michael married Samantha Lowry in Bonham, Texas, and together they built a beautiful life filled with fun, laughter, family time and cherished memories. His passion for life extended to his love of gaming and fishing, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends and listening to music. Michael was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, and friend. He will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his loving wife, son, family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Samantha Chambers of Melissa, Texas; son, Matthew Chambers; sisters, Linda Davis, Joyce Hamilton and Onetta Davis; brothers, John Davis, Tony Chambers, and Anthony Wood; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Peyton Chambers; parents, Wayman and Arneitha Chambers; brothers, Gregory Hamilton; Eddie Davis; and sister, Cindy Davis.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
