Michael Thomas Schultz, age 84, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018. He was born July 11, 1934, in Sparland, Illinois, to Zelis (Baggs) and Michael Schultz. Michael married the love of his life, Geraldine “Gerri” Lee Filson in Toulon, Illinois, on October 17, 1969. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and worked in security at hospitals.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Gerri, and their son, Michael Paul Schultz of Frisco; his children, Melody Kaminski and her husband, Mikes, of Jones Creek, Texas, Marty Schultz of Denton, Texas, and Michelle Pruett and her husband, Jerry, of Lake Jackson, Texas; his precious grandchildren, Brandon Schultz, Kyle Schultz, Jonathan Pruett, Summer Salas, and Rebecca Schultz; numerous great-grandchildren; his sister, Geraldine Marie McConnell of Murphysboro, Illinois; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Joshua Thomas Butler.
