BMCS Michael Reese, Ret. age 86, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2026, in Frisco, Texas with his wife and daughters by his side. He was born on August 7, 1939, in Brownsville, Texas. Michael lived a full and meaningful life marked by dedication to his family, service to his country, and a love for sports.

Michael proudly served in the United States Coast Guard for 20 years, demonstrating unwavering commitment and discipline throughout his military career. His time in the Coast Guard was a testament to his sense of duty and patriotism.

Michael was a devoted husband, father, and caregiver. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Molly, and leaves behind five children: Stephanie, Michael, Mark, Janet, and James. His legacy extends further through his grandchildren, DJ, Justin, Sean, Lauren, Kyleigh, and Amara; and great-grandchildren, Ziggy, Maddie, Gabrielle, Giselle, Alivia, Aida, Alaina, Aubrie, Skylar, Greyson, and Miles; all who will carry forward without him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents but leaves behind a family deeply grateful for the love and memories they shared with him.

Michael had a lifelong passion for baseball and football. Whether cheering for the Dallas Cowboys or Texas Rangers, these sports brought his joy and connection throughout his life.

His life was a service, and devotion will remain an enduring inspiration.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas 75033, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 8000 Eldorado Parkway, Frisco, Texas 75033, at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will be held at Ridgeview West Memorial Park, 7800 Sanctuary Drive, Frisco, Texas 75033, on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM with military honors.

The family would like to thank Alpha Omega Hospice and Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow for the wonderful service and care they provided for the family.
