Michael Rouse

Sep 29 1982 - Apr 05 2026

Michael Rouse, aged 43, of Oak Point, TX, passed away in the early morning hours of Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026. He was born September 29, 1982, in Dallas, TX, to Dan and Carole (Ribbeck) Rouse.

Michael attended Carrollton Christian Academy in Carrollton where he was president of his 8th grade class. He attended Creekview High School in Carrollton before graduating from Willow Bend Academy. He attended both Dallas County Community College and Lincoln Tech Automative School.

Michael loved sports where he excelled in baseball. At age 14, he was rated as the second-best shortstop in the state of Texas for his age.

He accepted Christ at an early age and was a Warrior for Christ in the treatment programs and in the AA units that he attended and often led.

Michael loved his now-deceased puppies Dodger and Debo who loved him steadfastly. His precious pit bull, Deuce, was always at Michael’s side — if not sleeping on top of him.

Michael leaves behind his loving and devoted parents, Dan and Carole of Oak Point, TX; His younger brother, Christopher Adam Rouse and wife Ashley, and beloved nephew Wesley Cooper Rouse, all of Corinth, TX. He is also survived by an uncle, Clifton Ward Rouse of Tulsa, OK, and aunts Linda Rouse of Garland, TX; and Connie (Ribbeck) Leverett of Magnolia, TX and by his Godmother, Lanay Gaunce of McKinney, TX. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his dear “Granny” and “Gramps” Ribbeck, Grandmother Virginia Rouse, and Foster Grandmother Bobby (Wall) Bragg.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to a Suicide Prevention program of your choosing.
