Michael Reyno of Weston, Texas passed away on August 1, 2024 at the age of 69. He was born to parents, Lewis Reyno and Ruth (Watkins) Shimek on November 25, 1954 in Dallas, Texas.

Mike married Deborah Kissinger Barnett on August 31, 1991 in Dallas, Texas. He was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church in Weston, Texas, where his faith played a significant role in his life. Michael enjoyed playing billiards and was a dedicated provider for his family. He had a passion for cooking and was known as the “BBQ expert.”, specializing in ribs Michael also loved to travel extensively with his loving wife. He proudly served his country in the Marine Corps.

Michael is survived by his son, Stephen Barnett and wife, Lori “Juniebelle” of Celina, Texas; grandchildren, Zoie Barnett and wife, Katelyn of Burleson, Texas, Zane Barnett and girlfriend Kayla Smith, of Celina, Texas, Zeke Barnett of Frisco, Texas, Lacy Uhyrek and husband Tim of Tolar, Texas; great grandchildren, Kinley and Paxton Uhyrek; brother, Tony Carlile of Arkansas; sister Lori Brady; and a host of other numerous loving family and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, sisters René Chaves, and Jerilou Reyno, and his late wife, Deborah Reyno.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 12, 2024 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The service will also be live streamed at TJMfuneral.com on Michael’s obituary page by clicking on the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/michael-reyno. After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location. Following the service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service.

The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
