Michael Nicholas Spinnato, Jr. of Princeton, Texas passed away July 24, 2022, at the age of 72. He was born on August 21, 1949, to Michael Nicholas Spinnato, Sr. and Julia (Shane) Spinnato in Baltimore, Maryland.
Michael married the love of his life, Michele (Papa) on February 12, 1972, in Orlando, Florida. Together they proudly raised their sons, Christopher and Jason. Michael was a self-taught electrician, carpenter, car mechanic, and father. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge with his sons who loved working on projects with their dad. He was a dedicated and knowledgeable employee wherever he chose to work, but his most rewarding “job” was his post-retirement career as “Pops”, grandfather to Evelyn and Adelyn. Pops radiated love for his beautiful granddaughters. He enjoyed tea parties with Evelyn and being a human jungle gym for Adelyn. He will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Michele Spinnato of Princeton, Texas; son, Jason Spinnato and wife, Nicole of McKinney, Texas; mother, Julia Spinnato of Saint Louis, Missouri; sisters, Susan Meissel of Saint Louis, Missouri, Julie Dereska of Frisco, Texas, and Carol Walker of Georgia; grandchildren, Evelyn and Adelyn Spinnato of McKinney, Texas; and many loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Spinnato.
