Michael Lawrence Biko of Allen, Texas passed away on April 18, 2018 at the age of 69.  He was born on September 24, 1948 to Walter and Marion (Nichols) Biko in Frankfurt, Germany.  Mike married Teresa Henson on October 20, 2009 in Lancaster, Texas.  He was a great man of faith, wonderful husband, loving father, brother, uncle and friend. He was a world class athlete, 1st Round Draft pick 1966, signed with the Phillies, two time Iron Man in Kona, long-distance cyclist, but his greatest accomplishment was being a Dad. Mike was also a great leader, mentoring and developing future leaders across the nation, impacting lives, one at a time. If you spent any time with Mike Biko, you felt enlightened and very privileged. Mike was a man of integrity and his faith in God was at the center of everything and his family and friends meant the world to him. Mike was fascinating and had a great sense of humor…he was a very, very, very funny guy, if you didn’t think so, you just needed to ask him. His smile was infectious and he had the spirit of a lion. He made the best cheesecake in the world, guacamole salad that was extra special and always sang Happy Birthday opera style!

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 8 years, Teresa Biko of Allen, Texas; sons, Alexander Biko and wife, Jenny of Dallas, Texas, Zachary Biko of Dallas, Texas, Max Biko of Dallas, Texas and Seth Cazares and wife, Kasie of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Lauren Freeman and husband, Jonathan of Georgia; grandchildren, Ty, Edison, Ryder and Cameron; sisters, Karla Click and Claudia Oliver; brother-in-law, Charles Henson and wife, Terri of Hillsboro, Texas; in-laws, Andrew and Patricia Henson; nieces and nephews, Dennis, Shelly and Nick Hastings, Mike, Bobbie, Berkley, Carter, and Tyler Moates, Michael, Gracie, Celeste, Dallas and Christina Puckett, Emily, Tyson, Lillian and Camren Henson, David Harrison, David, Donna, Kiersten, Kevin and Ryan Bornhofen and Laura and Andrew Garcia; and his fur-babies Molly, Baxter and Martin...he loved them so much!!
