Michael Ed Ables of Farmersville, Texas passed away on April 7, 2017 at the age of 25. He was born on November 16, 1991 to Michael David and Brenda Darlene (Smith) Ables in McKinney, Texas. Michael grew up in Princeton where he graduated from Princeton High School in 2010. He had worked in the oil fields for the last four years. Michael enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was of the Baptist faith.
Michael is survived by his son, Kade Lane Ables of Farmersville, Texas; parents, Michael and Brenda Ables of Coleman, Texas; grandparents, Herbert and Doris Smith of Coleman, Texas; great-grandfather, Dewey Vandver of Honey Grove, Texas; brother, Jimmy Smith and wife, Brittany and their son, Hunter of Princeton, Texas; several aunts, uncles and a host of other loving family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ed and Vivian Ables, Mary Vandver and Elmer and Effie Smith.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel in Allen. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
