Michael Dean Steele, 66 year old Trenton resident, was born in Paris Texas August 23, 1949. His parents were Ross Dean and Bettie Marie Wright Steele. He married Beverly Ann Saunderson Steele October 31, 1966 in Paris, Texas. He passed away on July 11, 2016 from complications from surgery and from a broken heart due to the death of his beloved wife Beverly Ann Steele on July 2, 2016 just prior to their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Mike graduated from Paris High School and continued his education at Baylor College in Dallas where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Mortuary Science. He was a member of the Leonard Community Fellowship Church and was an exceptional husband and father of two daughters.
He is survived by his two daughters: Melissa Barton and husband George of Leonard and Michele Steele-Banks and husband Troy of Frisco and by his grandchildren, Brandon, Jordan and Shelby Barton, all of Leonard.
In addition to his beloved wife, Beverly Ann Saunderson Steele, he was preceded in death by his parents, Bettie Marie Steele and Ross Dean Steele, his grandmother, Helen Marie Wright and his grandparents Ross Reginald Steele and Mary Graham Steele.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on July 23, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church of Leonard, located at 206 N. Main Street in Leonard, with Pastor Willie Johnson and Pastor Adam Spore officiating.
