Michael Larry Davis, age 67, of McKinney, Texas, formerly of San Diego, California, passed away January 22, 2013, in McKinney. Michael was born July 7, 1945, in Reno, Nevada, to Mr. and Mrs. Homer Davis. He graduated from National University with a bachelor degree and San Diego State University with a master degree. Michael was a police officer on the San Diego Police Department for over thirty years. He proudly served in the United States Navy during Vietnam.
He is survived by his sons, Eric Davis and Dan Davis, both of McKinney, Texas, and Brant Davis and wife, Christie of El Cajon, California; grandchildren, Alexander Davis, Andrew Davis, Jacob Davis, Justin Davis, and Justin Mosier; and sister, Susan Davis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Dan Davis, and sister, Sharon Davis.
A traditional Irish wake will be held at a later date in San Diego, California.
