Michael Bean, age 44, of Fairview, Texas, passed away September 7, 2010. Michael was born February 10, 1966, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to W.L. and Betty (Engledow) Bean. He received his Bachelor of Science in Education and Masters in Administration from Midwestern State University. Michael taught school in Iowa Park; was Principal at Paradise Elementary School; Vice Principal at Graham Middle School; and was a Principal in the Frisco Independent School District. He worked for EDS/Hewlett Packard for ten years. Michael was an avid Texas Rangers fan, and loved to travel. He is survived by his son, Caleb Bean of Wichita Falls, Texas; parents, W.L. and Betty Bean of Iowa Park, Texas; sister, Angel Sheets and husband Skip of Iowa Park, Texas; brother, T.J. Bean and wife Kaydee of Iowa Park, Texas; a host of other loving family and friends. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 10:00 a.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, in Allen, Texas, with Dr. Greg Ammons officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Michael Bean Scholarship Fund at Iowa Park High School. The fund will be set up at State National Bank of Texas in Iowa Park.
