Michael Andrew Haller, a native of Alexandria, Louisiana and resident of Plano, Texas; son of Patsy Anne (Teague) and George Jack Haller, Sr. passed away on June 28, 2017 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was 53 years old.
During Mike's battle with cancer he never lost sight of his faith or his sense of humor. Mike is survived by his wife of 24 years, Karen Dugas Haller; daughter, Jean; sons Daegan, Jaim and Jack; brothers, Jack (Lori) Haller, Jr. and David (Chandra) Haller. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The Haller family would like to express their sincere gratitude for all the love and support from their family and friends during Mike's courageous fight; they are beyond grateful for the excellent care received from Christopher Stokoe, MD, Cindi Bedell, NP and their wonderful staff at Texas Oncology. "No one fights alone".
Services will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2700 W. Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, Texas, 75023, on July 13, 2017 beginning at 10:00 A.M. with the recitation of the rosary, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. A reception will be held immediately following the service at the church hall. Donations in Mike's memory may be made to Lustgarten Foundation - Pancreatic Cancer Research at lustgarten.org, and are appreciated.
As his brother David wrote to Mike in his last days, "Cancer may win the battle, but Christ has won the war little brother."
