Theo Merle (Beatty) Bridgefarmer of McKinney, Texas passed away on March 8, 2018 at the age of 94. She was born on May 21, 1923 to Nuge and Willie (Cox) Beatty in Chambersville, Texas. Merle grew up in Chambersville and McKinney where she graduated from McKinney High School in 1941. She married Henry Lee Bridgefarmer on January 4, 1942 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Merle helped her husband with his business, H.L. Bridgefarmer Trucking Company. She liked gardening and working in the yard.
Merle is survived by her son, Donnie Ray Bridgefarmer of Garland, Texas; daughter, Pat Davis and husband, Charles of Garland, Texas; grandchildren, Shannon O’Keefe and husband, Patrick and Chuck Davis; great-grandchildren, Sarah Robison, Connor O’Keefe and Collin O’Keefe; great-great-grandchildren, Abby Robison and Olive Robison; and numerous other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one brother and three sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Monday, March 19, 2018 to pay their respects and to sign the register book.
