Meredith Eleanor Johnson Bingaman Weaver, age 88, passed away Friday, July 6, 2018, at the Village at Stonebridge Memory Care Facility, McKinney, Texas surrounded by her family. Born July 11, 1929, she nourished people around her with love, faith and music. She loved everyone and believed in treating all people with kindness.
Meredith was born in Providence, Rhode Island to Anton and Esther Johnson. She had a loving sister, Edith Maher. Meredith enjoyed playing piano and entertaining the residents of Village at Stonebridge during her stay. Piano and entertaining was one of the things she enjoyed most besides her family. She married John F. Bingaman, of Birdsboro, PA in 1950. They built a loving home on Pippin Orchard Rd, Cranston, RI, where they raised two children, Marcia and John. Meredith and John loved their home and pool, but they really enjoyed traveling, seeing the world through camping trips, cruises and overseas trips. They eventually moved from Rhode Island and settled in Bradenton, FL, where they retired enjoying their home near the beach and lovely warm weather.
John passed away suddenly in early 1990, and through friends she met Don Weaver, her second husband. Married in April 1994, Meredith was blessed sharing her life with two loving husbands. Don and Meredith cherished each other and enjoyed life traveling and spending time with friends and family members at their Florida home.
Meredith’s life revolved around her many loving friends and family members. Although never one to shy away from a job, she put life on hold to raise her children in a loving environment. Later she resumed working in various office positions, a successful Avon representative, and numerous times as part of the census program. She volunteered playing piano at church, weddings and social events.
Meredith is survived by her daughter, Marcia Wilkicki and husband, Chuck, her son, John Bingaman and wife, Tami all of McKinney, Texas; her nephew, Ernie Maher and wife, Nancy of Wayland, MA; four grandchildren, Stephanie (Wilkicki) McKethan and husband, Stephen, Jennifer Wilkicki, Logan and Baylee Bingaman; four great-grandchildren she so loved and enjoyed, Brent and Lori Travis and Mason and Maddox McKethan.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Envoy Hospice Foundation, 860 Hebron Parkway, Suite 1203, Lewisville Texas 75057, in honor of Meredith Weaver.
